The Earth Defense Force: Iron Rain release date has passed, with the game arriving on PS4 on April 11, 2019. The game is now available in the US and UK, but EDF fans have been left confused about where to buy the new game in the regions. Unfortunately for those who like to receive hard copies of their games, this is due to an Earth Defense Force: Iron Rain physical release not being given the go-ahead by its publisher, D3 Publisher. Earth Defense Force: Iron Rain Release Date | How to buy EDF in US and UK
The lack of an EDF Iron Rain physical release in the US and UK makes things a little tricky for those who don’t want to go digital. The game has received a physical release in Asia, but outside of this region, you’re out of luck. However, you can get the game on import, if you’re willing to shell out some extra cash.
Fortunately, Play Asia is offering one of the cheapest deals on the game in the US via Amazon, as EDF fans can pick up the new game for $73.99 on import. As there is no actual physical release in the US, getting the game for much cheaper than that isn’t possible right now. The same can be said for UK players, who can pick up the game through the Play Asia site for £55.
