E3 Nintendo Direct Dated, Centered Around The Future Of Wii U

The Big N has revealed the date and time of their E3 Nintendo Direct, which will focus primarily on the future of Wii U software.

The worldwide broadcast will air on June 11th at 7AM PT, which is nice and early right before the E3 show floor opens its doors for day one of the expo. I don't know about you, but I can't help but find Nintendo's decision to not hold a large-scale press conference all the more puzzling, as the Nintendo Direct is set to air around the same morning time slot their presser is typically held.

Call my crazy, but I was expecting Nintendo to air the news a bit earlier—you know, before Sony and Microsoft have everyone buzzing in LA after their mind-blowing pressers.

That said, I'm still super excited to see what Iwata and the gang have up their sleeves. If the company wants to save the Wii U, there better be some killer game announcements on the 11th, and I'm not just talking about a new 3D Mario and a Wind Waker remake.
