Call of Duty Modern Warfare roadmap January 2020

Modern Warfare roadmap details Gunfight 3v3 and extra loadouts

Season One of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is busting into 2020 with signature bullet-flying style. A new community update from Infinity Ward has detailed new updates coming as part of the Modern Warfare roadmap, including mention of new features and changes coming to the latest Call of Duty release.

Among the latest roadmap is mention of a new 3v3 Gunfight mode. Gunfight has proven to be quite popular, and the 3v3 mode allows even more combatants to jump in on the action. Infinity Ward is also giving players more loadouts, as per countless community requests.

In addition to Gunfight 3v3 and extra loadouts, the developers will also be implementing more Gunfight Tournaments. The team has indicated that these will return “once we’ve squashed a few bugs and added in new rewards,” so they may not arrive in the next Modern Warfare update. To top it all off, the team is also planning to offer more 2XP, 2X Weapon XP, and 2X Tier events.

Beyond plans for new content and tournaments, the January 10 Modern Warfare roadmap specifies a new schedule for updates. The community update states that Playlist updates will land on Tuesdays, dev diaries will release on Thursdays, and additional community blog updates will release on Fridays.

Topping it all off is the reveal of a new Trello board that can help community members keep on top of the game’s various patches and bugs. This will be the place to go to catch up on software updates or to see which issues are currently being tracked. Interested players can follow this link to the Modern Warfare Trello board.

Last but not least, the latest Modern Warfare roadmap mentions a few specific bugs that are being tracked. These include problems with mission collision on containers in Cargo, flickering lights on various maps, exploits in Ground War, and issues with Platinum skins, including unlock bugs and Damascus camo glare while aiming down sights.

The next Call of Duty: Modern Warfare community update should be slated for Friday, January 17. Until then, players can track the latest changes or follow Modern Warfare development by heading over to the new Trello board.
