Tips and Tricks
Screen is divided into three platforms. John moves on his own, and you swipe Up or Down on the left side of the screen to jump in those directions. The idea is to avoid obstacles like lava, laser beams, explosives and buzz saws at all costs.
Tap the right side of the screen to fire John's weapon, or swipe up/down/left/right to deliver a sword slash.
When you see the exclamation point that appears on the right you'll know shield-carrying enemy is about to appear.
The bloodier Johns face looks, the worse he is. Look for the occasional heart while running to help him recover.Related: John Mad Run FAQs
