Special Edition Zelda 3DS XL Headed To Europe [Update: North America Too]

[Update] Nintendo has confirmed that the special Zelda-themed 3DS XL, which was only previously confirmed for release in Europe, will be headed to North America as well. The device will be priced at $219.99 and come bundled with a download code for The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds. The bundle will be available on November 22nd.

[Original] Nintendo has just unveiled a special edition 3DS XL to go along with the release of The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds. Right now, it's only confirmed for release in Europe, which is a real shame for those of us in North America. It's a beautiful piece of hardware.

The handheld will come pre-loaded with a copy of A Link Between Worlds, and will hit store shelves on November 22nd, the same day the game launches. As far as I'm concerned, this is an absolute must for Zelda fans who have yet to purchase a 3DS.

What do you think of this new special edition 3DS XL? Are you hyped for the release of a new portable Zelda? Let us know in the comments below.
