Upgrade your resource buildings as fast as you can, focusing more on the Oil Pumps. You will need a lot of oil throughout the game.
Unlock all heroes as new heroes bring you extra goodies and can help you win battles easily.
Clean up your base: Trees and debris will make your base seem deserted and you will get more incoming attacks.
If you think about spending real money on the game think about the special offer early on. What you’ll receive when starting the game is absolutely amazing and you will indeed get a ton of freebies from making a single purchase.
Play single player missions when out of resources.
Join an active alliance where members donate troops and dead weight is always removed as soon as possible.
Upgrade all your troops a.s.a.p. The better your troops, the higher your chances to defeat enemy bases and loot the resources you need.
Mines can prove to be tough to beat but hero power can find them.
Sending in the cheapest troops with the goal of finding where the mines are will help you in a long run.
Send in a team of Juggernauts and Snipers. The Juggernauts are there to draw fire and give the Snipers the time they need to destroy the resource buildings.
Target abandoned bases for easy points and resources. You can consider a base abandoned if there are a lot of dog tags around and/or a ton of trees and debris flooding it.
When attacking target the defensive buildings first.
Always send a hero in battle and try to make it the main hero – the one you will always use. They gain experience and level up.
Don't use the heroes your alliance members send because there’s nothing for you to gain. Use your heroes and level them up!
