Persona 5 Strikers Playable Characters List and Unlock Requirements

Persona 5 Strikers has a solid list of playable characters that will be very familiar to players of the original game. Despite the decent roster, there are some characters that are noticeable missing from the lineup. Some of the party members in Persona 5 Strikers must be unlocked as well, though most are available at the beginning.

Who are the playable characters in Persona 5 Strikers?

Persona 5 Strikers Playable Characters

Most of the Phantom Thieves are available as playable characters in Persona 5 Strikers. Those who played through Persona 5 will see some very familiar faces as soon as the game begins. This is a direct sequel to Persona 5, so it doesn’t take long to get caught up with the gang.

At the beginning of Persona 5 Strikers, the list of the playable characters is:

  • Joker
  • Morgana
  • Ryuji Sakamoto
  • Ann Takamaki
  • Yusuke Kitagawa
  • Makoto Niijima
  • Haru Okumura

The above characters appear as either player-controlled or AI-controlled party members in battle. Additionally, Futaba Sakura returns as the Phantom Thieve’s navigator, and will help players find their way through the game’s various dungeons.

Persona 5 Strikers unlockable characters list

There are two characters that are unlocked while playing through Persona 5 Strikers:

Sophia is unlocked very early on in the Shibuya Jail. Zenkichi is met early on, but he won’t officially join the party as a member until the fifth dungeon, Kyoto Jail.

Why aren’t Goro and Kasumi in Persona 5 Strikers?

Goro and Kasumi don’t make an appearance in this title even though they were party members in Persona 5 and Persona 5 Royal, respectively. There’s no in-game reason every given for why they don’t appear. There are a few possible reasons why they don’t show up, but with nothing confirmed by Atlus, we can only speculate.

It’s possible that Atlus may release the two in DLC for at some point, but nothing has been confirmed yet.
