PlayStation 4 Sell-Through Numbers Surpass One Million In 24 Hours

Sony Worldwide Studios president Shuhei Yoshida has announced that PlayStation 4 sold over a whopping one million units to consumers in its first day.

The Sony exec posted the following message on Twitter: "PS4 has sold through over 1 million units within 24 hours of the launch in North America!" Following that up, Sony VP of publisher and developer relations, Adam Boyes, posted: "Thanks to all of you gamers in getting us to 1,000,000 sales of PS4 in our first 24 hours!"

Xbox One launches this Friday, November 22nd. Will it reach a similar milestone in a mere 24 hours? We'll just have to wait and see!
