Stray Safe Code Number

Stray Safe Code Number: How To Open Slums Alley Safe

The Stray safe code number can be tricky to find. With the alley safe containing Sheet Music, many players will want to open it. Unfortunately, the required Digicode can be difficult to track down in the Slums, even with the “Follow numbers” clue. Thankfully, the code is the same for all players and so it’s easy for us to just give you the answer. Read on for the Stray safe code number and where to find it in DUFER BAR.

What is the Stray safe code number?

The Stray safe code is 1283.

To open the Slums alley safe, players need to find a four-digit code by following these directions:

  1. Facing away from the safe, take a right and go up the stairs.
  2. Then take another right and go down the stairs.
  3. Go towards the red neon sign and enter the bar.
  4. Above the “DUFER BAR” sign is a painting that can be interacted with.
  5. Knocking the painting down will reveal the safe code “1283.”

Sheet Music is found in the alley safe.

Without being given the answer, players will have to do an extra step and talk to a robot to decipher a code. This will then lead them to DUFER BAR where players will then have to look up and spot the painting hiding the code. This is most easily done by jumping onto the bar itself and then pointing the camera view up.

This is one of the more difficult codes to track down, as many players won’t bother to look above the DUFER BAR sign. What’s more, the neon sign itself is quite distracting and takes attention away from the other writing on the walls.
