Blizzard has confirmed that the arrival of The Nighthold on January 17th has unlocked the ability for players to upgrade their legendaries to item level 940.
The process will begin with a quest titled Touch of a Titan, which is only be available to players with a Legion legendary in their possession. The quest requires 50 Essence of Aman'Thul, which are acquired within all difficulties of The Nighthold, Mythic Keystone caches, Emissary bags, and also obtained from PvP Weekly Quests.
