Watch Dogs Gets a Release Date, New Trailer, 8-Player Multiplayer [Update]

[Update] Ubisoft has confirmed that Watch Dogs will feature an 8-player open-world multiplayer mode. 

Creative Director Jonathan Morin confirmed the news on Twitter in response to a fan's question.

 

[Original] Watch Dogs, the upcoming open-world action title set in Chicago, will launch on May 27th, Ubisoft has officially announced.

Along with this exciting news, the publisher has released a new trailer that sheds some light on the game's story. Give it a look below.

Watch Dogs is coming to PlayStation 4, PS3, Xbox One, Xbox 360, and PC. The publisher has also confirmed that the game will be arriving on Wii U at some point later this year.
