Super Smash Bros. Nintendo Direct Announced [Update: Release Window Coming]

[Update] The Big N has confirmed that it will be shedding light on the release window of Smash Bros. during today's upcoming Direct presentation. The company posted on Twitter

[Original] Nintendo has announced that it will be airing a new Nintendo Direct presentation next week on Tuesday, April 8th. It'll be focused on the company's upcoming multiplayer brawler, Super Smash Bros. Wii U/3DS.

The Big N has assured us that the game will be launching at some point in 2014, so there's reason to hope we'll finally get a release date. Knowing Nintendo, though, there's a good chance we'll instead get a character reveal or two, while the launch date reveal is held for E3.

Speaking of which… be sure to comment below and let us know who you'd still like to see added to the Smash Bros. roster. My money is on Yoshi.

You'll be able to catch the stream here at 3PM PT (6PM ET) on April 8th.
