Captain Toad’s Treasure Tracker Announced for Wii U

Captain Toad appeared in Super Mario 3D World in small diorama levels where platforming was part collection and part puzzle, but the diminutive star is getting his own full game on Wii U.

Captain Toad's Treasure Tracker will allow players to tackle even more levels as our backpacking adventurer, collecting coins, defeating enemies, and solving puzzles. Toad can face off against Shy Guys and Goombas though his small stature means he'll have to outsmart them.

The game also features GamePad shooting mechanics and perspective switching through multi-tiered levels. Toad will also face off against bosses when the game lands on Wii U later this year.
