Resident Evil 4 Remake Wayshrine Key Location: How to Unlock the Shrines

In Resident Evil 4 remake, you’ll need to find the Wayshrine Key location to unlock the various shrines you’ll discover during your journey. You’ll see these Wayshrines the first time you pass through the Farm, the Lakeside Settlement, and the Quarry. However, you won’t get a hint at what opens them except that they have a keyhole. Fortunately, it’s not too tough to find out where the Wayshrine Key is located.

You’ll find the Wayshrine Key location in Resident Evil 4 remake just past the Mural Cave. To get there:

  • Play until you hit Chapter 4.
  • Then, follow the only way available to you.
  • You’ll fight some Ganados, and eventually, you’ll find yourself in a cave with a mural.
  • Head past the mural, and you’ll find a dock.
  • To the right of the dock is a shrine.
  • Head over to it and open the case within to get the Old Wayshrine Key.

  • Farm

  • Quarry
  • Boat landing west of the Large Cave Shrine (Not pictured on map)
