Grab yourself a big case of Overcharge Delirium XT (or don't, if turning into a mutant isn't your thing) and fire up your Xbox One, as the first round of story-driven downloadable content is coming to Sunset Overdrive.
Announced by Insomniac Games' “Sunset TV,” the DLC entitled “The Mystery of Mooil Rig”is slated to launch on December 23. The content will focus on an oil rig found off the shores of Sunset City, one which is surrounded by water on all sides. As such, get ready to get wet – everything from the landscape to the enemies to new moves players can acquire will have a new, aquatic nature to them, including the very cool-sounding Water Slambounce.
While not all the details have been revealed yet, Insomniac also promises new weapons, amps, and Chaos Squad content in the DLC, which will sell for $10. Those who have bought the season pass will receive “The Mystery of Mooil Rig” as part of the package.
