In a post shared on X, Mackenyu showcased his carefully organized card vault, complete with binders filled with rare and valuable One Piece TCG cards. The setup immediately signaled that this isn’t a casual hobby. He competed using a Black Imu deck, a powerful and relatively expensive deck type known for its strategic depth.
During the event, Mackenyu reportedly played ten matches and won eight of them, an impressive showing by any standard. His only defeats came against another Black Imu deck and a Blue-Yellow Hancock deck. Thanks to that strong performance, he finished the day ranked among the top 10 players, further solidifying his reputation as a legitimate competitor rather than a celebrity guest appearance.
