LEGO’s New Star Wars Lineup Lands in Time for May 4

It seems like LEGO is going all out for Star Wars Day this year, and that too, with a rather unique and special 2026 lineup. This is easily going to be one of the esteemed brand’s most packed drops yet. At the center of it all is a brand-new wave of “Star Wars” sets.

These much-anticipated sets are scheduled to hit shelves just in time for May 4, which is celebrated globally as “Star Wars” Day. This means that the drip will basically blend collector-grade builds with more accessible fan favorites, leaving ardent fans super surprised and sincerely obsessed.

LEGO unveils new Star Wars set to celebrate May 4

The biggest LEGO release this year, which will happen as part of the May 4th release, is going to be the Mandalorian’s N-1 Starfighter. This could reportedly become an Ultimate Collector Series set. Its design makes it evident that the new set prioritizes the brand’s fans and serious collectors. It will tie directly into the growing hype around “The Mandalorian” universe and even connect to the upcoming film, which will feature Grogu.

However, that is not all. LEGO did not stop at just one hero set this time. The 2026 lineup is all set to include a mix of ships, character builds, and display pieces, such as the New Republic X-Wing Starfighter, The Razor Crest, Grogu, Darth Vader, and Yoda busts, and of course, some smaller battle and character sets for casual builders, as well. So, in total, around 9 new sets will roll out as part of the May the 4th rollout.

It is quite clear that there will definitely be a strong focus on “The Mandalorian” era this time around, which is wise because this clearly seems to be LEGO’s current sweet spot. Furthermore, this year’s collection will lean heavily into storytelling and display value.
