Couch co-op on Call of Duty WW2 is a possibility, but there are some caveats. Split-screen multiplayer is a mainstay of the CoD series, and many people buy the games to play them with friends in-person. Unfortunately, a lot of games these days don’t offer local play and focus on an online-only multiplayer experience, but most fans witll me happy with the way CoD WW2 handles splitscreen co-op.
Does CoD WW2 have Split-Screen Multiplayer and Co-Op?
Call of Duty WW2 does support local multiplayer in multiple modes. Nazi Zombies supports couch co-op, and you can also face off against a friend in CoD WW2 multiplayer.
To access local multiplayer options, just switch to either the multiplayer or Nazi Zombies menu and select “Local Play.” Once you’ve chosen local play, the game will allow you to enter split-screen mode and start the game.
Can I play CoD WW2 Split-Screen Online?
You and another friend can play in games together online during split-screen mode. To play with two players, you’ll need to connect a second controller to your Xbox One or PS4 and go to the start menu. There you’ll see a message that says player 2 can press X (PS4) or A (Xbox One) to join.
Will CoD WW2 Have 4 Player Split-Screen and Co-Op Support?
In CoD WW2 you can only play locally with up to two players. That means there’s not going to be any four-player split-screen deathmatches or anything like that. Once you’ve paired two controllers to your PS4 or Xbox One you can no longer add additional ones.
Does CoD WW2 for PC Have Local Split-Screen and Co-Op Multiplayer?
As of the publication date of this article, PC Call of Duty WW2 players are feeling a little left out. Only the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions of the game have local split-screen multiplayer support. Whether or not splitscreen will be added to PC in an upcoming patch hasn’t been commented upon by Sledgehammer Games or Activision.
