Rainbow Six Siege Outbreak Packs: How to Get the New Loot Crate

Rainbow Six Siege Outbreak Packs premiered alongside the new Outbreak zombie mode. These new premium loot crates give players unique drops and have the bonus that they will never contain a duplicate item. Outbreak Packs aren’t hard to get ahold of, but they will cost you a pretty penny. Below we have everything you need to know about how to get Outbreak Packs in Rainbow Six Siege.

How to Get Outbreak Packs in Rainbow Six Siege

Rainbow Six Siege Outbreak Packs Menu

The new Outbreak game mode is only around until early next month, and when its gone the Outbreak Packs go with it. That means hardcore Rainbow Six Siege fans will want to get as many of these limited-time loot crates as possible so they can collect all of the unique gear.

You should have gotten four Outbreak Packs for free at the start of the Outbreak event. If you want more, you’re going to need to spend some R6 Credits. To purchase Outbreak Packs head to the Rainbow Six Siege main menu and click on the button shown above. Once the next screen pops up, you can change from Alpha Packs to Outbreak Packs.

How to Buy Outbreak Packs in Rainbow Six Siege

If you haven’t opened your four free packs yet, you’ll have the option to do so now. Otherwise, you can click on “Get Packs” to bring up the screen to purchase more Outbreak Packs. There isn’t any discount for purchasing more packs, so don’t feel pressured to buy more at a time. Furthermore, you can only get 50 Outbreak Packs over the course of the event, so don’t feel like you need to get them all at once.

You can only buy Outbreak Packs in Rainbow Six Siege with R6 Credits since they’re premium packs. If you don’t have any R6 Credits, you’ll have to head to the shop to buy some Currency Packs. One helpful bonus that comes with the Rainbow Six Siege Year 3 Pass is that you get 10% off any R6 Credit purchase, so if you want to buy Outbreak Packs in bulk, it might be worth picking up a pass.
