The Destiny 2 Update 1.17 Patch Notes are out now, and we’ve got the lowdown on everything you need to know about this latest version of the game. Bungie continues to hammer out more and more updates each and every month in order to make sure the game is as balanced as possible for players.

Unfortunately, while the Destiny 2 Update 1.17 Patch Notes do detail some major and important changes that players will be glad to know about, it doesn’t address some issues with balance that was brought into the game with the major update last month. Regardless, here’s everything you need to know about update 1.17.

Destiny 2 Update 1.17 Patch Notes Explained

The Destiny 2 Update 1.17 Patch Notes are here, so we’ve got everything you need to know about it. While the March update was pretty large and added and changed some necessary stuff, this one is much smaller and meant to fix some important issues. Let’s dive right in and see what’s changed.

In total, there are only a few changes at all that come with the Destiny 2 Update 1.17 Patch Notes. However, that doesn’t understate how important all of them are. The biggest changes are related to the Crucible. There have been some changes to the respawn system so that players are less likely to spawn near enemies.

In addition, the Rumble game mode has had its player count adjusted from eight players to only six. Beyond those two major changes, here is the rest of the Destiny 2 Update 1.17 Patch Notes:

  • Fixed an issue where players were unable to load into the Tower
  • Fixed an issue where vendors would sometimes not load into the Tower
  • Fixed an issue where players are sometimes unable to load into a raid encounter
  • Increased monitoring for Zebra errors. Will be split into Beet and Kale soon
