Fortnite Android Update and New Mobile Patch Notes Released

Those waiting for a Fortnite Android update are in luck, as Epic Games has announced a release date period for the Android version of the game, alongside new mobile patch notes for the iPhone platform. What with how successful the game has been on iOS, there’s no doubt in my mind that the developers are working as fast as they can to get Fortnite Android out there.

Fortnite Android Update

The latest Fortnite Android update sees Epic Games stating that it is targeting summer 2018 for the release date. The studio acknowledges that “many [players] are excited for this release.”

Fortnite is coming to Android!

“We are targeting this summer for the release. We know many of you are excited for this release, and we promise that when we have more information to share, you’ll hear it from us first.”

So Fortnite Android is still happening, but users will have to wait until the summer to finally get their hands on it. Making the wait even more difficult to bear is the constant stream of patches coming to the iPhone version. Epic Games is showing a lot of support for that platform.

Fortnite Android Update

A new Fortnite iPhone update is out now, bringing numerous changes and improvements to the mobile version of the game. The ability to customize the HUD is one of the more significant improvements, alongside performance tweaks that should make the game more stable and crash less. Planned changes include voice chat, overhauled gameplay and controls, a smaller installation size, and stat tracking.

That’s a lot of new features planned for the Fortnite mobile versions, which should make an already impressive portable Fortnite experience even more enjoyable to play. Here’s hoping it all goes to plan, as I know I’m personally very excited to play the Fortnite Android edition!
