State of Decay 2 Signal Booster: What This Perk Does

As you play more and more of the game, you will want to know exactly what the State of Decay 2 Signal Booster Perk does. This is a weird perk that obviously sounds like it has something to do with radio signals. But what exactly is it boosting? That’s a great question.

The State of Decay 2 Signal Booster Perk is a vaguely named and defined perk so it makes knowing whether or not you should use it a complex decision. That’s where we come in. We’re going to let you know what this perk does, whether you need it or not, and what it is best used for. Let’s get started.

State of Decay 2 Signal Booster Perk Explained

The State of Decay 2 Signal Booster Perk is, as it certainly sounds, related to the radio signals. In the game, you can at any time, request assistance from your fellow survivors for various tasks. You can ask for help locating resources, finding new survivors to recruit, and so much more. This perk has to do with these features.

The State of Decay 2 Signal Booster Perk actually helps you with the cooldowns associated with these features. Though those features like asking for assistance are pretty helpful, they do have a cooldown that makes you have to wait several minutes before using them again.

The State of Decay 2 Signal Booster Perk reduces those cooldowns by 20%. That means that you won’t have to wait as long to utilize those features again. Unfortunately, that makes the perk kinda pointless and not really worth having. 20 percent isn’t a whole lot so you’re better off just waiting.

We don’t really recommend the State of Decay 2 Signal Booster Perk to anyone at all. The reduced cooldown isn’t really worth losing the perk slot so we highly recommend you pick a different perk as soon as you find a better one.
