Is Realm Royale Coming to PS4, Xbox One, Switch, iOS, or Android?

Realm Royale is the latest battle royale game to come to PC and gamers want to know if it’ll be coming to PS4, Xbox One, Switch, iOS, and Android. Realm Royale would make a good release for consoles since there still isn’t a ton of battle royale games there. Find out what we know about a Realm Royale PS4 version and Realm Royale Xbox One release below.

Will a Realm Royale PS4 Release Happen?

Hi-Rez’s Paladins spin-off is already attracting a ton of players on PC. The price is right (it’s free) and it’s an excellent alternative to Fortnite if you get tired of it. Logic would dictate that Hi-Rez would want to get Realm Royale on PS4 ASAP.

Whether or not it’s coming to PS4, though, is in the air. Hi-Rez hasn’t mentioned whether or not it’s planning a PS4 version of the game, and since it just hit early access on PC, we might be waiting a bit for an answer.

However, the good news is that Paladins has made it onto PS4, so we do know that Hi-Rez has experience porting games from PC to PS4. It’s likely the game will make it to console, but we can’t be sure if it’ll be sooner or later when it happens.

Will a Realm Royale Xbox One or Switch Release Happen?

The story is much the same for an Xbox One version of the game. Hi-Rez hasn’t mentioned whether or not Realm Royale is coming to PC, and again, since it just hit early access, we might not hear anything for a while.

However, Paladins is also on Xbox One, so we do know that Hi-Rez is familiar with Microsoft’s console too. This means if it’s successful on PC then it’s highly likely we’ll see multiple ports of the game.

It’s the same story for Realm Royale on Nintendo Switch. Paladins is on that console, so success on PC will likely mean a port to Nintendo’s device as well. However, Switch ports have historically come later than those to PS4 or Xbox One, so it’ll likely be a while before we hear about one.

Will Realm Royale come to iOS or Android?

Paladins isn’t available on mobile yet, but Hi-Rez does have history working with both platforms. Like we said above, these ports will likely depend on Realm Royale‘s success on PC. Expect these to come even later than the Switch port since it’ll take a lot of work to scale the game down to iOS and Android.
