The Fortnite Search a Chest, Ammo Box, and Supply Drop in a Single Match challenge is very different from other “Search” challenges of the past. Unfortunately, I can’t just point you to a map and let you follow that to an instant reward. No, this is going to actually take some effort and skill. You see, there are chests and ammo boxes all over the place, and you really shouldn’t struggle with finding them. The real problem comes with supply drops, which while plentiful, can be really difficult to claim for yourself. Here are some tips on how best to complete the Fortnite Search a Chest, Ammo Box, and Supply Drop in a Single Match challenge.
Fortnite Search a Chest, Ammo Box and Supply Drop in a Single Match Challenge Explained
As mentioned above, the Fortnite Search a Chest, Ammo Box, and Supply Drop in a Single Match objective isn’t like the usual location-based “Search” challenges. This Week 10 challenge requires players to use their own gaming skills to stay alive long enough to secure a chest, ammo box, and supply drop. All three items must be claimed within the same match, or it simply won’t count and progress will be reset.
Think of this tougher challenge as the final Season 4 Battle Pass test. It’s that final boss that you need to beat in order to progress! (Note that you can still buy the Season 5 Battle Pass without completing this challenge!)
How to Complete the Search a Chest, Ammo Box and Supply Drop in a Single Match Challenge
Perseverance is going to be key to completing the Fortnite Search a Chest, Ammo Box, and Supply Drop in a Single Match challenge. If at first you don’t succeed, try again! You should have no problems finding chests and ammo boxes littered about each named location, so head for that first. Once the supply drops start to fall from the sky, you’ll want to head straight for one and try to build around the landing zone. Protect yourself as it drops and you should be able to hold off any enemies.
