Since the rocket launch, inter-dimensional portals have devoured landmarks found in the Fortnite map. Everything seems to be changing, all gearing up towards the launch of Fortnite Season 5. After various smaller leaks, something rather big appears to have been let out of the bag: Fortnite Season 5 will likely be Wild West themed. A new Fortnite desert map has been found.
Datamining is quite the tool for those of us with enough time on our hands. A new datamine has pulled out some interesting info regarding potential Fortnite Season 5 themes and setting. While it doesn’t look like we’ll be playing on a whole new island in Fortnite, we will be shooting and building on a new Wild West map variant. As can be seen in the video below, the map isn’t changing, but it will sure look different. A lot of sand will appear on the map, hay, and Wild West iconography. Golly Bob Howdy. Fortnite Season 5 Map Leak: What Is the Fortnite Desert Map Release Date?
As you can see in the video above, the place names are the same, but this is likely to change as and when the next Fortnite update comes into play. While we don’t know for certain when Season 5 begins, we do know that it will be soon thanks to all these leaks and now some in-game changes. Indeed, via a report on Forbes, we have some confirmation that Fortnite Wild West theme will be coming.
Landmarks have been disappearing, and some have been receiving replacements. One such landmark is a stagecoach. These Fortnite breaches seem to be slowly building up to the introduction of Fortnite Season 5 and a definite Wild West theme, which has now been found through datamining.
