Fortnite Profits: How Much Money Has Fortnite Made

Since releasing last year, Fortnite has gone from strength to strength. Recently, the game launched on Android devices, ensuring that you can play the game on just about anything you own. It’s probably only a matter of time before TVs come pre-installed with Fortnite. Millions of us play the game every single day, whilst millions more spend their free time watching people play it on Twitch. Indeed, it’s been such a success that it has helped propel Epic Game’s worth to around $8 billion. How much money has Fortnite made though? The answer, is a hell of a lot.

There are a lot of numbers to get through here, so bear with us. It has been reported that Fortnite rakes in a whopping average of $2 million a day, with a peak of $3 million spent in-game on July 13. According to stats from SuperdataFortnite has earned Epic Games over $1.2 billion, by the end of May. Analysts predict that it will have made profits in the region of $2 billion by the end of 2018. These are mind-blowing numbers, especially considering Fortnite is a free-to-play game.
