Black Ops 4 Blackout Ray Gun Location

Black Ops 4 Blackout Ray Gun Location: Where Is The Ray Gun In Blackout?

The Black Ops 4 Blackout Ray Gun location has been on everyone’s mind since it was found in the Blackout beta recently. With this guide, you will be able to find, with some luck, the highly sought-after iconic weapon in the battle-royale mode. So where is it? Here’s where to find the Blackout Ray Gun.

Where Is The Black Ops 4 Blackout Ray Gun Location?

The most concrete Black Ops 4 Blackout Ray Gun location is the area of the map called Asylum. It is in the Eastern portion of the Blackout map, and you can see where it is exactly in the image below.

Once you get there, you will need to kill some zombies to get the gun. However, it is not guaranteed to spawn from the remains of the living undead, so a lot of luck is involved.

Additionally, the zombies take a lot of damage, so expect to take a while to defeat them. An alternative way of obtaining it is through the Mystery Box which spawns all over the map. These will randomly drop across the map, working essentially as supply crates, so while it is not a consistent source for finding the ray gun, it at least means you don’t have to skulk around the Asylum to find the weapon.

Once you find the Ray Gun though, it should be a treat. Reddit user LordFred27 has found that the weapon does 145 damage to other players. However, many others are reporting that the weapon has only 20 rounds in it, so you should be careful with how you use it. You should also be aware that it doesn’t function exactly like the gun has in previous Black Ops games. Its range and splash are much smaller than previous iterations of the gun, so keep this in mind when you grab the retro-futuristic pistol.
