Shadow of the Tomb Raider Lockpick Location: How to Find the Lockpick

Shadow of the Tomb Raider is available to play now, and you’ll want to do that to find out how Lara Croft’s origin story ends. During your travels through South America, you may come across treasure chests that you’re unable to open without a lockpick. Those kinds of chests usually hold special items, so how do you go about getting a lockpick to get the goodies inside? Here’s how to find the Shadow of the Tomb Raider lockpick location.

Shadow of the Tomb Raider Lockpick Location: Where Do I Find it?

To find the Shadow of the Tomb Raider lockpick location, you’ll need to have reached the legendary lost city of Paititi first. Once you get there, you’ll be able to undertake a side quest called “Dice of the Dead.” Play your way through that side mission until you come across an outcast who, coincidentally, is also a vendor. She carries the lockpick, which you’ll need to buy if you want to get those Shadow of the Tomb Raider treasures.

Shadow of the Tomb Raider Lockpick Location: What if I’ve Missed it Already?

What happens if you’ve already missed the Shadow of the Tomb Raider lockpick location by completing the quest though? What about if you didn’t have the funds for it? You may think you’re out of luck, but there’s still a chance that you’ll see the vendor in other locations in Shadow of the Tomb Raider.

There are currently three known Shadow of the Tomb Raider lockpick locations away from the side mission, and all three are in the Hidden City. The merchant can be found to the most Southern bridge that intersects the river, near the buildings that line a lake with a small island that can be accessed with your rope arrows, and in the North of the city near to one of the Maya pyramids.
