Black Ops 4 Voyage of Despair Medusa Coin Locations

Black Ops 4 Voyage of Despair Music Easter Egg – Medusa Coin Locations

In the Black Ops 4 Voyage of Despair Zombies map, you can shoot four Medusa Coins to trigger a music easter egg. When you shoot all four, you’ll trigger the song Drowning by Kevin SherwoodMalukah which is the Voyage of Despair Zombies theme. This is one of the easier easter eggs to pull off in Voyage of Despair, but it’s incredibly easy to overlook these coins if you don’t know exactly where they are. Below we’ve got the four Medusa Coin locations in Voyage of Despair in Black Ops 4 Zombies.

As stated above, there are four different Medusa Coins scattered throughout the Voyage of Despair Zombies map. To activate them, all you need to do is fire a single shot into them. You’ll know you’ve triggered them when you hear a noise and the coin stops glowing.

Green Medusa Coin – Forecastle

You can get the first Medusa Coin right as you begin the level. From where you spawn in the Forecastle area, face towards the back of the ship and go up the right set of steps. Look to the right of the next flight of stairs in front of you, and you’ll see some burning cargo. Right below these stairs is a wooden box. Look at the rear of this box, and in the upper left corner, you’ll see a green coin. Shoot it to activate it.

Purple Medusa Coin – Poop Deck

The next coin is clear on the other side of the ship. There are two sets of steps leading up to the Poop Deck with red seal doors beside them. Go up the left set of steps and turn left. Follow the railing till you reach the side of the ship and then face towards the front of the vessel. You’ll see a large spool of rope with a wooden crate to the right of it. You should be able to peek through between them and see a purple Medusa Coin.

Red Medusa Coin – Sun Deck

Once you’ve activated the artifact and unlocked the red seals, you can head to the top of the ship. In the Sun Deck area, you’ll find a lifeboat that has been slightly overturned out of its moorings. In the middle of the lifeboat, you can peek between two chests to see the Red Medusa Coin on the bottom of a desk laying on its back.

Blue Medusa Coin – Lower Grand Staircase

Black Ops 4 Voyage of Despair Blue Medusa Coin

You’ll need to head to the very bottom floor of the grand staircase for this coin. Past the point that the red seal once blocked, you’ll be able to descend to a dark area with a Pack-a-Punch pedestal. Stand directly in front of the pedestal and then look up. On the back of one of the rafters, you’ll see a blue glow. This is the final Medusa Coin. Once you shoot it, the easter egg will trigger, and you can listen to the song.
