LEGO DC Super Villains Flying Character – How to Get Flight

LEGO DC Super Villains is out now, and it boasts a lot of content, with over 160 characters and a full open-world hub to explore. Getting around can be a problem at the beginning of the game, as you don’t have immediate access to a flying character like Superman. So how can you get a LEGO DC Super Villains flying character as quickly as possible without cheating? When can your custom character get the power of Flight? We’re here to help.

How to Quickly Get a LEGO DC Super Villains Flying Character

The LEGO DC Super Villains open world is pretty large, and can be hard to traverse without a flying character, especially when going between the cities of Gotham and Metropolis. If you progress through the story you’ll eventually unlock Sinestro, but that doesn’t help if you want to explore earlier in the game. Golden Glider and Booster Gold both have side quests in Metropolis to unlock them, but you can actually get a hidden flying character in the starting hub of Gotham.

Head to the area above, in the Arkham Forest area to the east of Gotham City. In the northern part, by the marker, is a creepy house. In the front porch of the house is a large briefcase. These are scattered about the world and contain hidden character tokens. Smash it, and you’ll find this particular hidden character is Jessica Cruz Green Lantern, and she’s a flying character! Of course, if you had the season pass or deluxe edition you’d have the flying Supergirl TV villain Reign from the start…

How Do You Get the Flight Power?

Perhaps a harder unlock is the Flight power-up for custom characters. Unlike previous LEGO titles, your custom character is a major part of the story, and you can choose to build multiple customized figures if you wish. However, the major special ability that’s locked is the Flight power. While it would be useful to have a flying custom character, unfortunately you can’t get Flight until you finish the story mode. You’ll just have to make do with Superman, Sinestro, Green Lantern, Shazam, Ultraman, Booster Gold, Silver Banshee, etc. until then!
