Call of Duty Black Ops 4 1.07 Update Patch Notes

Call of Duty Black Ops 4 1.07 Update Patch Notes – What’s New?

The Call of Duty Black Ops 4 1.07 update patch notes have finally dropped and feature a good number of tweaks, updates, and even a new mode. Plus, if you’re on Xbox One and PC, you finally get to play on the new map that PS4 owners have been enjoying for a bit now. The download is about 9.5GB on PS4 and may differ on other platforms. Be aware that it may take a long time to copy over once it has downloaded and PC owners have to wait a bit longer for this patch.

Call of Duty Black Ops 4 1.07 Update Patch Notes – Nuketown Comes to Other Platforms

PS4 owners have been enjoying the beloved Nuketown map for a week and now PC and Xbox One owners now get to join in on the fun. Nuketown even has a dedicated playlist which includes 6v6 Team Deathmatch, Kill Confirmed, Domination, and Hardpoint. Zombies will even be on Nuketown Island in Blackout and Blackjack’s Shop was added to the Black Market. This part of the update is currently live on Xbox One and will come to PC shortly.

Call of Duty Black Ops 4 1.07 Update Patch Notes – Multiplayer

Nuketown has been added to regular playlists now. Speaking of new additions to multiplayer, 100-player TDM has also been added which ups the winning score from 75 to 100. There have also been a few crash fixes. Players can also equip Mastercraft on their Signature Weapon as soon as they get the weapon.

Some Scorestreaks have also been tweaked. Care packages are now faster but now don’t give as good of items as often. The Dart, Lightning Strike, Sentry, Sniper’s Nest, and Thresher have had their total point total reduced, making them easier to get. The RC-XD, Hellstorm, Mantis, and Attack Chopper have all had their point thresholds increased, which makes them harder to get. All Scorestreak kills also now only give 10 points instead of 25. Treyarch wants players to remember to visit the Scorestreaks selection menu to swap out their Scorestreaks if need be since some of the values have changed.

The Swordfish and ABR 223 have also had their upward recoil reduced, which makes them a bit more accurate. The ABR 223 also had its four-hit kill range extended to 32 meters (from 25). Treyarch stated that it did this to “better define their role as ranged power-position weapons.”

Call of Duty Black Ops 4 1.07 Update Patch Notes – Blackout

Blackout is largely the same but it should no longer jitter when you’re healing or changing attachments while moving. Bowie knives should also be available from killing zombies, equipment stashes, or the zombies locations. But the patch notes indicate that it is only on PS4.

Call of Duty Black Ops 4 1.07 Update Patch Notes – Zombies

Zombies has an extensive list of changes. However, these are almost all exclusively fixes for bugs and crashes. Judging by the sheer number of changes, this should make the mode more stable.

Call of Duty Black Ops 4 1.07 Update Patch Notes – PC-Specific Changes

Similar to OverwatchCall of Duty Black Ops 4 has started to deviate between console and PC versions.  Treyarch recently made submachine guns a bit stronger. However, while these buffs were needed on consoles, they were not as dire on PC. This newest patch scales down a bunch of the submachine guns and restores them to a similar state they were in before. Treyarch gave the following reason for reverting them back.

“We strive to provide a similar experience between PC and console whenever possible, making platform specific changes when appropriate,” the post said. “In our last weapon balancing pass, we made critical SMG balance changes that were needed on console. These changes did not translate as well to PC, where mouse-and-keyboard players already saw success with SMG weapons. We’re rolling these changes back to best suit the needs of our PC community, and taking it a step even further for the Spitfire. The above changes to the Swordfish and ABR 223 also apply to PC.”

There are also a few more bug fixes that only affect PC owners but it’s not much.

The Call of Duty Black Ops 4 1.07 update patch notes are quite long and if you want to read every little detail, you can check out the post Treyarch made on r/CODZombies. The studio lays out every tiny little change just in case you really want to what numbers changed.
