What is the Smash Ultimate A Spectacle to Behold Spirit Event?
A limited-time only event that prioritizes a series of specific Spirits, the A Spectacle to Behold Spirit Event sees Spirits that wear glasses or sunglasses now appearing more frequently on the Spirit Board.
Not only that, but beating characters that have the relevant Spirits attached to them will also net you more gold in the process. There’s even a handful of rare Spirits that are popping up at random intervals throughout the 72-hour period, more on which you can see below.

First up, we have a list of Timed Spirits. These uber-rare Spirits only pop up twice on the Spirit Board so be sure to head there via the Main Menu > Spirits to be in with a chance of grabbing them.
- James McCloud (appearing December 14-16 at 6:00 AM and 6:00 PM in your region)
- Brittany (appearing December 14-16 at 9:00 AM and 9:00 PM in your region)
- Jeff (appearing December 14-16 at 12:00 AM and 12:00 PM in your region)
- Brewster (appearing December 14-16 at 3:00 AM and 3:00 PM in your region)
