The brand-new open-world MMO pirate game, ATLAS, from the developers behind ARK Survival Evolved is available to play in early access right now. What are the ATLAS system requirements? Read on to find out exactly what sort of rig you’ll need to sail the high seas of ATLAS. You don’t want to buy the game only for it to not run, now, would you?
ATLAS System Requirements – Can My PC Run ATLAS?
Revealed at the 2018 Game Awards, ATLAS features some relatively high production values. This shouldn’t come as a surprise to those of us who know and play ARK Survival Evolved. Compared to that game, the visuals have taken a step up. Naturally, this means that you’ll need to own a rather powerful PC in order to run ATLAS.
Below, we’ve listed the ATLAS minimum system requirements. Unfortunately, however, the recommended system requirements are as yet unavailable. As ATLAS is currently in early access, too, expect the minimum system requirements to change before it sees a full release at some stage during 2019.
ATLAS System Requirements – Minimum Requirements
As stated above, ATLAS is a fine-looking game. As such, you’d expect the minimum system requirements you’ll need to own in order to run the game to be rather beefy. Surprisingly, however, this isn’t the case. Take the minimum RAM, for example. You won’t need too much in the ways of RAM (just 4 GB) to play the new open-world pirate MMO.
The list of the minimum system requirements needed in order to run ATLAS (as per the ATLAS Wiki) is as follows:
- Operating System: Windows 7, 8.1, or 10 (64-Bit)
- Intel: Core i5-2400
- AMD: FX-8320
- NVIDIA: GTX 770 2 GB
- AMD: Radeon HD 7870 2 GB
- Memory: 4 GB RAM
- Hard Drive Space: 100 GB available
While the minimum specifications required to run ATLAS aren’t too powerful, bear in mind that not only are they subject to change before the game releases fully, but also that the more powerful rig you own, the better it will look and run.
