Fallout 76 has more than enough quests in it, from the weird to the challenging, but if you’re looking to play with other people in the first online Fallout game it’s good to take on a public quest now and again. The Fallout 76 Uranium Fever public event can net you and your team some rewards, but where can you find this quest? How do you complete Uranium Fever? And what rewards do you get for doing it? We’ve got the answers for you.
Where to Find the Fallout 76 Uranium Fever Quest?
The Uranium Fever event can be found at Blackwater Mine, which unfortunately has nothing to do with Red Dead Redemption 2. It’s located directly east of, but close to, the Whitespring Resort in the Savage Divide region of Fallout 76‘s Appalachia map. Fortunately as it’s a public event it will show up as a special marker, as you can see in the map above. Simply get close by and you’ll get the quest details.
How to Complete Uranium Fever
The goal of Uranium Fever is to mine uranium, while protecting the mines from Mole Miners. There are several steps you’ll need to do to complete the quest:
- Speak with the Blackwater Auto-Foreman
- Initiate the Extraction Process
- Protect the Extractors as they Extract Uranium
- Repair Extractor Alpha
- Repair Extractor Bravo
- Repair Extractor Charlie
- Uranium Extracted!
Every time you activate an extractor it will get targeted by Mole Miners, including possibly three Legendary Mole Miners at a much higher level, so hopefully you’ll have several other players there to help you.
The only definite reward you will get is Nuclear Material. However, possible loot includes ammo, items, armor, mods, weapons, and even plans. Make sure to attack and raid the corpses of those Legendary enemies however, since you’ll potentially get some Legendary weapons or armor when you do. However, it’s all random, so you never know if you’ll get a useful weapon or not. You will get XP, at least…
