Finding all the Starfield skill book locations will take quite a long time, and magazines are easy to miss while you’re looting an area. Fortunately, we have a list of where you can find almost every magazine in the game and earn its associated buff. That is, if you don’t want to use console command cheats to get all the skills books. Some of the magazines will be found in random locations and some of the skill books will change their position in new game plus runthroughs. Still, it seems that these locations will have some skill book, even if it isn’t that’s listed below.

- CombaTech Catalog 01 – Found in Guilty Parties quest from Ryujin Industries in Syndicate Hideout at Frankie’s in Neon City Ebbside.
- CombaTech Catalog 02 – Found on Phobos in UC Vigilance by joining UC or committing a crime
- CombaTech Catalog 03 – Go to Polvo in Valo system and go to Hopetown’s Inside Best Defense shop.
- CombaTech Catalog 04 – Found during Breach of Contract quest in an Hephaestus mine on Gagarin.

- GRUNT 01 – Looted on a corpse near the Red Mile Beacon on Porrima III.
- GRUNT 02 – Inside Seokguh Syndicate Hideout in Neon City as part of the Guilty Parties quest.
- GRUNT 03 – As part of the Deputized quest for the Freestar Collective, you will find this in a bandit camp next to the Waggoner Farm on Montara Luna.
- GRUNT 04 – In the Crimson Fleet space station that you visit as part of the Deep Cover UC Vanguard mission, you’ll find this magazine at the bar next to a ping pong table.

- Mining Monthly 03 – Found in Gagarin Landing Bar on, well, Gagarin in Alpha Centauri system
