On April 1, the gaming industry gets kind of weird. With a few silly announcements from game developers already today (some real and some not), Ubisoft has decided to jump in on the fun by releasing a new limited time event for Rainbow Six Siege. The new Rainbow Six Siege Rainbow is Magic event brings a little bit of silliness and a whole lot of pink to the tactical shooter.
What is the Rainbow Six Siege Rainbow is Magic limited time event?
Players are given a very important mission in the Rainbow is Magic event for Rainbow Six Siege: They must save a VIP. That’s right, a Very Important Plushie! The VIP Teddy Bear is being held inside a toy-sized plane, and it is up to you to rescue it. Players can choose between four different operators to get the mission done. However, you won’t be able to head into the mission in your regular gear, no sir. Instead, you’ll be given a special plushie outfit to wear to ensure that you go unnoticed. You can choose from Blackbeard and Montagne as attackers and Smoke and Tachanka as defenders. But that’s not all! You can also pick one of nine toy soldiers to help you complete the mission. Your options are Ash, Thermite, Thatcher, Sledge, Castle, Kapkan, Bandit, Frost, and Recruit.

In addition to the silly Rainbow is Magic limited time event, there will also be 17 exclusive items that you can only get by taking part in the Rainbow Six Siege event. The items range from toys to unicorns to BDUs. Additionally, logging in during the event will get you a free Rainbow is Magic Collection Pack. The first one is free, and more can be earned through completing Ubisoft Club Challenges or by spending R6 credits.

The Rainbow Six Siege Rainbow is Magic event will only be in the game for a short period of time. Starting today, players can participate in the Rainbow is Magic event from April 1-8.
