How to get the Flute in Cadence of Hyrule

Cadence of Hyrule Lute | How to fast travel

The map in Cadence of Hyrule is a big place, and with a ton of enemies to defeat, knowing how to get around quickly is going to be important as you progress through the game. If you want to get around the world fast, then you’re going to need to know how to fast travel. Fast traveling is tied directly to the Lute in Cadence of Hyrule. The Lute is a special item that you’ll be able to get your hands on pretty early on. In this guide we’ll show you how to get the Cadence of Hyrule Lute, which will allow you to travel using the Sheikah Stones located around the world.

Cadence of Hyrule Lute | How to fast travel

Finding the Lute is a difficult thing to do in Cadence of Hyrule, as the item’s location appears to be completely randomized. This means that it’s going to be different each time you play through the game. As an example, we started the game up with Zelda and received the fast travel device almost instantly after playing through the opening bits. In fact, it was the first upgrade that we received outside of the normal items you get at the start. When we tried playing through on a second file, though, we went several instances without finding the Lute.

Cadence of Hyrule Lute location

To find the Lute, you’re just going to need to explore the world until you find Lake Hylia. Once here, you’ll want to look out for a Sheikah Stone that you can activate. This should open up a door blocking a cave right next to it. With the door opened, head inside and you should find Cadence (the girl you play as at the start of the game) inside waiting with the Lute. All you need to do to claim it is pick it up and it will automatically be added to your inventory.

To use this item, you’ll need to assign it to one of the main four face buttons you have. We like to keep it on A when we need it, as it makes it very easily to open up the map and fast travel around the world without much trouble. Now that you’ve got the Lute, it’s time to start saving the kingdom. Make sure you activate plenty of Sheikah Stones along the way to make traveling faster.
