The Sinking City Early Access Bug | Unlock error

The Sinking City Early Access Bug

The Sinking City early access bug is something that Frogwares and published Bigben Games didn’t anticipate, but it’s caused them a massive problem since early access permission was supposedly granted.

Basically, players who preordered the game were supposed to be able to play it 48 hours earlier than anyone else. This was Frogwares’ and Bigben Games’ way of saying thank you for purchasing the game ahead of time.

This hasn’t gone smoothly judging by the game’s Reddit page though. Multiple threads have appeared as people on different platforms have complained that they can’t play it with the early access promise.

The issue mainly concerns people who bought it via the Epic Games Store, but it’s unclear of Xbox One, PS4, or Switch owners are also affected.
