Private messages are down on three of the most popular social networks in the world. Facebook Messenger, Instagram DMs, and Twitter DMs are down, though other functions seem to be working on those websites. As of right now, we’re not sure what the connection is between these services, but it may have something to do with the massive DDOS attack against Cloudflare just a few days ago.

Hundreds of users are reporting the same issue, so the best thing you can do is just to relax and wait for service to be restored. It appears as though Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook are all still working besides the private message functionality, so you can still get all your hot memes, you just can’t message them to anyone directly for now.
