Get the blue orb bomb and go under the teleport ledge. this is to the right of the thing that spits the orb out. once your under the ledge throw the bomb up so it lands on the ledge right under the teleport opening. be careful not to throw it to high up otherwise it will transport over to where the mushroom in the force field is. as soon as the bomb lands jump up on the ledge so that your standing on the bomb. when it explodes it will transport you and shoot you up in the air where you will land on the platform with the star on it. then you can go to the next area and turn off the force field.
