Control Objects of Power Locations Where to find Launch 2

Control Objects of Power Locations | How to get every ability

The Control Objects of Power are some of the more interesting parts of the lore, especially since they give you powers. But you still need to find them as they are not all placed in your main path. Fret not, here are all the ability locations and how to find the Objects of Power in Control.

Control Objects of Power Locations | Where to find Launch

This is your go-to power since you’ll be tossing stuff around pretty often in this game. And it’s impossible to miss. Once you clear the Control Point near the Communications Department, you’ll run into the above hallway. Go into the Pneumatics room (it’ll have a sign over it) where the guy was being dragged into and you’ll see a weird blob throwing things at you. Make your way there by being careful and going up the left side. Just shoot it a few times and you will have Launch.

Control Objects of Power Locations | Where to find Dash or Evade

The Evade/Dash is optional. When you’re going near the Janitor’s Office in the Maintenance Sector, you can look down the hallway and see a blinking red light in a room at the end of the hall. Jesse will say, “What’s down that way?” Run to the blinking red light and go into the room and fall down the hold. Get to the unicorn and you’ll have a new power.

Control Objects of Power Locations | Where to find the Shield

Shield is also optional. It’s in the Maintenance Sector in the Field Training room west of the Central Intelligence room near top left of the map. You’ll need to beat an obstacle course to get the power. Just aim your shots carefully and be sure to pick up the batteries. Rushing will only have you picking up cement. Make sure the battery has the lock-on glow on it before you try to grab it. If you don’t do it carefully, you’ll probably fail.

Control Objects of Power Locations | Where to find Seize or Mind Control

Seize is also optional. In the Research Sector, you’ll eventually go into the Parapsychology ward and be near a big brain model that’s cut up into pieces. From there, you’ll see signs for the Hypnosis Lab. Walk in that room and you will see a bunch of brainwashed guys. Go to the right in the side room first and you’ll have to solve a puzzle to get in. Here’s the solution:

Once you do that, the door opens and you have to beat the obstacle course. No you can control enemies with low health.

Control Objects of Power Locations | Where to find Levitation

You can’t miss Levitation. But just in case, it’s immediately after the Salvador boss fight in the big red room in the Containment Sector in the Twisted Passage. Again, this is part of the story so don’t worry if you haven’t gotten it yet.
