Respawn Entertainment has announced a new Apex Legends event that will begin in just a few days. Dubbed the Voidwalker event, it will focus on Wraith’s past and will introduce a new limited time mode, challenges, and a new town takeover. The new Apex Legends event will only be running for a limited time, so you’ll want to make sure that you have all of your facts straight so that you don’t miss out. Here are all the release date and event details for the Apex Legends Voidwalker event.
Apex Legends Voidwalker Event | Release date
The Voidwalker event will be beginning in just a few short days. Kicking off on September 3, players will have until September 17 to complete new challenges and play limited time modes. Additionally, beginning on September 6, players will be able to earn double XP for Top 5 finishes and wins through September 9, which will affect Battle Pass progression and Account Level. The story of the event will focus on Wraith and will unveil more about the characters mysterious past, but that is all that we know for now.
Apex Legends Voidwalker Event | Wraith Town Takeover and Armed and Dangerous LTM
During the Apex Legends Voidwalker event, there will be an all new Wraith facility added to Kings Canyon. This research site will add to the overall story of the event as well as feature a functional portal that will allow players to reinitiate skydive. It is unclear if this location will stay in the game once the event is over.

There will also be a new limited time event coming with the Voidwalker event known as “Armed and Dangerous.” This LT, also themed around Wraith, will pretty much be the same as a normal game of Apex Legends, but will only contain snipers and shotguns, as well as limited loot. This limited time event will be active throughout the Apex Legends Voidwalker event.
Apex Legends Voidwalker Event | New Challenges
As you can see in the picture above, there are a handful of new Wraith themed challenges that will be coming with the Voidwalker event. Completing challenges will earn players exclusive skins and other Wraith based rewards. These challenges will expire on September 17 when the Apex Legends Voidwalker event comes to a close.
