The Elder Scrolls Online 5.1.9 Update Highlights

The Elder Scrolls Online 5.1.9 update

Sadly, this new update for The Elder Scrolls Online on PC and Mac doesn’t bring with it anything new. What we have here is a small update (around 106 MB) that applies a handful of fixes to the game. The version 5.1.9 update brings with it fixes for an Elsweyr quest, an Imperial City DLC general fix, and a couple of general fixes for the base game.

Elsweyr World Boss Dailies Fix

Anyone who plays The Elder Scrolls Online: Elsweyr will be pleased to know that the Sword of the Serpent quest has been fixed. It’s a specific fix, so stick with us here. Hopefully, very remote players should no longer find themselves blocked when their group mates steal challenger mementos before said remote player was in range to get hold of the quest item for themselves. An irritating bug, for sure, but there should be no more getting blocked for being too far away.

Other Fixes

Alongside the specific Elsweyr quest fix, other fixes have been applied in patch 1.5.9. You should, for example, receive rewards from daily quests during the Imperial City Celebration. A couple of general crash and responsiveness fixes have been applied, too. Read about it all in the full list of patch notes below.
