How to unlock the Maliwannabees Side Mission

Before we let you know who the best option to kill out of Rax and Max is, we thought we should let you know how to unlock the side mission in the first place. You’ll unlock the Maliwannabees side quest during the Hostile Takeover main mission. It’s located on the Promethea Planet in the Merdian Outskirts. You’ll need to talk to Ziff in order to activate the quest.

The quest culminates in you being asked to kill one of either Rax or Max after you have taken the elevator underneath the bridge. Does it matter who you kill out of the two? Read on for more.

Who to Kill? Rax or Max?

If you’re getting worried about who to kill out of Rax and Max, don’t. It doesn’t matter which of the two shielded enemies you choose to kill. The quest will be completed as soon as you kill either one of them. There aren’t different rewards depending on who you kill. There isn’t a wrong choice here.

What’s more, Ziff will ask you to kill the other of the two enemies after you have completed the quest. It really doesn’t matter which one out of Rax and Max you kill.
