Borderlands 3 Carnivora Dead Claptrap Location

Borderlands 3 Carnivora Dead Claptrap Location

The dead Claptrap in Carnivora is one of the trickier ones to find in Borderlands 3. While many dead Claptraps relatively out in the open, this is one that’s been tucked away in its own little hidey-hole. Fortunately, it’s not to hard to find the poor deceased robot in Carnivora once you’ve got the clue to its location.

Where is the dead Claptrap located in Carnivora in Borderlands 3?

To find this particular expired Claptrap, you’ll need to head to the small Children of the Vault base marked on the map above. There’s an area close to the fast travel point where you’ll fight a group of enemies with a giant Ferris wheel looming above it. Here’s where you’ll find the Carnivora dead Claptrap.

Borderlands 3 Dead Claptrap Carnivora Location door

Search around on the ground level for an open door with a red light inside. You’ll need to head into this passage and drop down a hole that leads to another corridor.

Once you jump down the hole, look up to your right and on the wall, tangled in some wires, you’ll see the single dead Claptrap in the Carnivora area in Borderlands 3.

You’ll be able to grab some RGB LEDs off this dead robot. With them, Claptrap will make VR-0N1CA’s carapace glitter with beautiful lights. At least, that’s what he says he’s going to do with them. Who knows where they’re actually going.

Finding the dead Claptrap in Carnivora completes one of the four Crew Challenges you’ll find in the area. Though it’s more difficult to find than some of the other expired robots in Borderlands 3, it’s not too much of a challenge. The big issue finding this one is that it’s hard to trigger the proximity needed to get the icon to appear on your minimap, which can leave you scratching your head on just where in Carnivora you need to go to find the dead Claptrap.
