Destiny 2 Weekly Reset

Destiny 2 Weekly Reset (October 1) | What’s changed in the weekly reset?

Oh boy, the Destiny 2 weekly reset for October 1 has landed at last. This week sees a massive overhaul to Bungie’s action-adventure RPG shooter. The game is going free-to-play, we’re finally getting the Shadowkeep expansion, and lots more content for new and existing players to get their teeth into. You’ll be wanting to know when the weekly reset time today is then, as well as what other changes are afoot. You don’t need to look further than our Destiny 2 weekly reset guide as always, so let’s waste no time in diving into what’s what.

Destiny 2 Weekly Reset (October 1) | When is the weekly reset time today?

Destiny 2 Weekly Reset

A new Destiny 2 weekly reset sees the return of the weekly reset time. True to form, it hasn’t changed since Daylight Savings began back in March, but we’re here to provide the scoop anyway for those of you who are newcomers:

  • 10 AM PT
  • 1 PM ET
  • 6 PM BST

The weekly reset time will change at the end of October, but we’ll let you know once that does happen. For now, just bear these regional times in mind for the next three weeks.

Destiny 2 Weekly Reset

Before we dive into the meat of this humungous Destiny 2 weekly reset, here’s a reminder that the Ritual Reset page has all your needs for what new challenges await you in-game.

As we mentioned, Bungie’s title has gone free-to-play, which means that there’ll be new players encountering it for the first time and fnding their way around the Tower. Be sure to help out anyone who looks like they need it, and even become friends with them. We all started somewhere on our own Guardian journeys after all.

Shadowkeep, the game’s newest expansion, launches today too. We’ve already revealed that the servers have been taken offline for maintenance, and you can read this guide for more details on when they’ll be back online.

As for what Shadowkeep will offer, there’s a new campaign addition on the Moon to complete, two new Strikes to partake in, Crucible updates, new and returning PvP maps, a Seasonal Artifact, and more to get to grips with. A new Raid will begin on October 5 too, so get yourselves ready for the Vex Offensive.

Finally, Xur has left to presumably oversee matters on the Moon. He’ll return on Friday with, hopefully, some new loot that hasn’t been purchasable as of yet.
