How to access raids in Destiny 2 Shadowkeep

With the release of Destiny 2 Shadowkeep, many players are returning to the game. Destiny 2: New Light is a new version with a free-to-play model and several changes. However, you still have to pay if you want to play the new Shadowkeep expansion. Among other things, this standalone expansion brings a new raid called Garden of Salvation. But how can you access this and the existing raids?

To access the Destiny 2 raids, you must go to the following locations:

  • Leviathan, Eater of Worlds, and Spire of Stars – You can access this raid via the Nessus planetary map.
  • Last Wish – It was introduced with the Forsaken expansion and is accessible via the Dreaming City.
  • Scourge of the Past – This raid is a part of the Black Armory expansion and is set deep within The Last City.
  • Crown of Sorrow – A new raid from the Penumbra expansion, you need to complete the “An Imperial Summons” questline before finding the raid in the Leviathan node on Nessus.

Raids in Destiny 2 Shadowkeep | New Garden of Salvation raid

Shadowkeep brings a new raid called Garden of Salvation, which will take you through the Black Garden, the birthplace of the Vex. The Garden of Salvation may be familiar for players of the original Destiny, where it was part of a story mission.

Just like the others, the Garden of Salvation raid is a six-player endgame activity that can take a few hours to complete and requires a commendable Power Level. During the first 24 hours there will be a Contest mode, and while there is no official info on Power Levels, it should require somewhere around Power 890 to enter, with the following days requiring a Power Level near 950 to stand a chance of defeating Vex. The first Fireteam to complete it will receive a new World’s First Belt.

However, the release of Destiny 2 Shadowkeep didn’t open the Garden of Salvation raid straight away. It will be available on October 5 at 9 AM PT, five days after the release of the expansion. You can expect many players to make a rush for it, trying to unlock some brand new armor sets.
