The 1.02 update lays the smackdown on a variety of aspects across the game’s multiple modes.

Some of the fixes are kept quite vague, but here are all the version 1.02 improvements that 2K noted:

  • Gameplay and controls
  • Graphics and clipping
  • Hair physics
  • Hit detection and aiming
  • Interactions with tables, ladders, steel steps, and other objects
  • Referee actions
  • On-screen button prompts
  • Characters “warping” or moving unnaturally around the arena
  • Crashes and freezing
  • Image downloads
  • Entrances and attires
  • Universe mode editing and saving
  • Custom and Created Superstars and creation modes
  • Commentary and sound effects
  • Online stability, matchmaking, desyncs, and lag

That’s a significant number of improvements included in the new update, with the developers targeting everything from gameplay and controls, to graphics and clipping issues.

The WWE 2K20 1.02 patch can be downloaded on Xbox One, PS4, and PC right now. 2K expects to release additional patches in the “near future” in order to counter “additional concerns” raised by the game’s community moving forward.

Expect to see more fixes implemented with the potential 1.03 update.
