Modern Warfare 1.09 Update Patch Notes

The Modern Warfare 1.09 patch notes have dropped, revealing what is included in the new Modern Warfare 1.09 update. The brand new patch includes fixed for Ground War along with buffs and nerfs for the game’s guns.

The patch isn’t a significant update, though it does provide some general bug fixes along with some changes to its weaponry. For those who have been complaining that previous Modern Warfare updates have been too substantial, this one is set to be a smaller download.

Modern Warfare 1.09 Update | Highlights

The highlights for the Modern Warfare 1.09 update include fixes for a bunch of missions/challenges that have been impeding progress for the game’s players, with the likes of Infiltrator, Warrior’s Code, and more receiving some tinkering behind the scenes.

Additionally, some of Modern Warfare‘s guns have also received some significant changes. The AUG has been significantly improved, with its close-range and mid-range damage being increased. On the other hand, the 725 has been nerfed, with the usefulness of its attachments decreased while its hip-fire damage has also been reduced.

  • Special Operations: Fix for an issue where a player would see no objective after retrying a mission after spectating (Operation Paladin)

  • CDL: Fix for rulesets in Search and Destroy where Field Upgrades were disabled

  • Fix for an exploit where players could duplicate their killstreaks (“Fix for various exploits”)

  • Fix for the “Blue V” Optic challenge not displaying the proper text description

  • Fix misspelling of “trophy”

Ground War:

  • Fixed a bug that could cause the filter on the respawn selection screen to stay on screen when spawning back in

  • Fix for an issue where the Select Loadout screen would keep reappearing after already selecting a loadout and attempting to spawn back in
