Modern Warfare M13 Rifle | Best attachments and loadouts

The Modern Warfare M13 Rifle might not be the most meta addition to your loadout, but that doesn’t prevent it from being deadly with the right setup and in the right players’ hands. After unlocking it at level 39, you can put the fully automatic assault rifle to work in a variety of different ways depending on your choice of attachments. Here are a couple of suggestions for players of opposing playstyles.

Aggressive M13 loadout

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare (2019) is, as you’d expect from the series, a highly mobile shooter. If you’re looking to tune your M13 Assault Rifle to this effect, a popular choice is to ditch the stock for added mobility while countering the resulting drop in accuracy with attachments to control recoil.

You might want to tinker with the attachments a bit yourself, but a good place to start is:

  • Barrel — Tempus Mini
  • Optic — G.I Mini Reflex
  • Rear Grip — Stippled Grip Tape
  • Underbarrel — Operator Foregrip

The wider accompanying loadout is really something that you can alter to meet your personal taste, though equipping Double Time as your first perk will increase movement speed and really help to complement the extra mobility that you’ve afforded the M13. Opting for thrown grenades instead of planted explosives is also a good idea, further enforcing the kinetic approach this setup aims to achieve.

Defensive M13 loadout

For the passive player, sacrificing mobility in favor of adding range and stopping power can help you to lock down tactical locations more easily. This way, you also don’t need to be as concerned with knowing map sightlines and the like, as you should be quite stationary in general.

Again, feel free to make slight alterations to attachments so long as they don’t undermine your strategy:

  • Barrel — Tempus Marksman
  • Optic —  Integral Hybrid
  • Stock — Forge TAC Stalker
  • Rear Grip — Granulated Grip Tape
  • Under Barrel — Commando Foregrip

A planted explosive like the claymore can cover your rear and a stim will give you the ability to heal and stay in the fight. With longevity being a focus, having Scavenger and Restock (or at least one) as your first two perks can also help to keep you ticking over with plenty of ammo and equipment.
